The Government is currently consulting on its proposal to extend the right to request flexible working to parents of children up to the age of 16. There has been a mixed reaction to the idea of giving yet more rights relating to requests to change working patterns, as can be seen from our news and features in this month’s issue, which focuses on flexible working.
